BEN BAUMAN
Owner and Chief Executive Officer
Ben Bauman’s 21 years of experience in the expedited transportation field covers work in operations and sales work with Roberts Express, general management with Target Expediting, and the presidency of World Logistics Group. Mr. Bauman began Bolt Express in 2001 to focus on customer service and strong partnerships with owner-operators. Mr. Bauman earned his Business Administration degree from Davis College and participated in the transportation program at the University of Akron.
JEFF WEIS
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Weis brings over 13 years of experience in the expedited transportation industry to Bolt Express. Mr. Weis Majored in Accounting and Minored in Computer Science at the University of Toledo, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After working briefly for William Vaughn Company as a Public Accountant, Mr. Weis moved to Logistics Management with World Logistics Group, and he has devoted his expertise to Bolt Express since 2001. Mr. Weis is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society.
GUY SANDERSON
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Sanderson has the responsibility for all Bolt Express operating groups: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Safety and Recruiting. He has a strong background in Project Management, Business Analysis, and Operations Management. Mr. Sanderson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clarkson University in New York.
CHUCK KING
President of Logistics
Chuck King joins the Bolt Express team with experience in the Expedited Transportation Field. He has worked as Director of Product Development and Carrier Management for National Logistics Management and Logistics Manager at both CHEP Logistics and Ryder Logistics. Mr. King earned his Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University.
